Russell WBHO — a long-standing Foresight partner — completed the £70m transformation of the former Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Knutsford, Cheshire, creating the new five-star Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. Foresight supported the construction site at The Mere for the full duration of the project, providing the connectivity and IT support the on-site team relied on every day.
A live, multi-phase construction site of this scale needs fast, dependable internet from day one — yet temporary site locations rarely have business-grade fixed lines available. The project teams depended on constant access to cloud systems, drawings and project data, and any loss of connectivity risked delays on a programme where timing mattered.
Foresight deployed secure, robust, always-on Starlink connectivity at the site, integrated with appropriate routing and security, and backed it with hands-on IT support for every colleague on site. From the first phase through to handover, the team could reach all the systems and data they needed — with Foresight managing the service for the entire duration of the works.
