SOC Solution Implementation
Kingfisher Learning Trust was established in 2016, initially by Kingfisher Special School in Oldham, and has grown to comprise schools across Oldham and Tameside providing for children with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. The Trust holds exceptionally sensitive data and operates across multiple sites.
Education is among the most targeted sectors for cyber attack in the UK. Special schools hold particularly sensitive data about vulnerable children. The Trust needed 24/7 security monitoring to detect threats before they could impact operations or expose student data.
Foresight deployed a SOC solution across the Trust's full network, integrating security event logging from all schools into a centralised SIEM. Automated alerts, threat correlation rules and an escalation process were built around the Trust's operating hours and incident response requirements.
