Offsite Backup Solution
Kingfisher Learning Trust required a large-scale backup solution for 800 users and 60 SharePoint sites — one of the largest education backup deployments Foresight has undertaken. The Trust holds irreplaceable student records, EHCPs, curriculum resources and administrative data.
At this scale, backup solution selection, performance and restoration testing required careful planning. Standard consumer-grade M365 backup tools were insufficient for the volume of SharePoint sites and the granularity of recovery required.
Foresight selected, configured and deployed an enterprise backup solution capable of granular recovery at individual file, mailbox and SharePoint site level. Backup jobs were scheduled across all 800 users and 60 sites with automated alerting for failures and monthly restore testing.
The scale of our backup requirement needed a specialist approach. Foresight designed a solution that covers everything and gives us genuine recovery capability.
