FTTP Deployment & Web Filtering — 7 Schools
Across 7 schools in the Kingfisher Learning Trust, legacy ADSL and FTTC connections were limiting cloud application performance, video streaming and interactive learning. A coordinated FTTP rollout was required alongside centralised web filtering.
Coordinating FTTP circuit orders, engineer access and network reconfiguration across 7 active schools — without disrupting teaching — required careful project management. Each school had slightly different infrastructure, adding complexity.
Foresight managed the full end-to-end project: ISP procurement, circuit provisioning, hardware configuration and cutover across all 7 schools during holidays and INSET days. Centralised web filtering was deployed from a single management console.
Coordinating this across 7 schools could have been a nightmare. Foresight managed the whole project and delivered on time with no disruption to teaching.
